Our Full Day at Camp Stillwood

messy leaders

I got dragged out of bed around 8:30 this morning. I actually got a lot more sleep than the rest of the leaders. In the morning I was assigned to the gym for two hours. We did a lot of skateboarding and I taped some of the kids with my camera and let them watch themselves. Throughout the day we played a lot of games and had some Devos. The most incredible thing though was the messy games. Games like the one where you blow an egg through a tube and the one where you use your mouth to get the Skittles out of the whipped cream. After a while it just turned into a mass food fight. I have never witnessed anything like it. When it was all over, the entire floor was covered with chocolate and shaving cream and potatoes and flour. You could not even walk without falling. The wall was covered with Jello and there was not a person left untouched. So, for the next couple hours some of the other leaders and I kept the kids busy while the rest of the leaders cleaned up the room. Now, we are sitting in the upstairs room with the boys telling stories. Who knows when we will go to bed?
